The Perspective Project //

Sana Shepko-Hamilton

The Perspective Project: Considering Content Personalization in a Digital Age is an exploration of the way people interact and understand each other, with special attention to how contemporary digital marketing strategies may affect already existing biases and divisions. Using philosophical ideas such as hermeneutics and phenomenology as a theoretical framework, the project is an exercise in understanding the formulation of belief and identity, and in a modern context, the way that content personalization can affect the way we understand the world. This project culminates in the form of an interactive article and includes 16 interviews responding to the same two-part prompt.
